Hollywood’s Disturbing New Obsession With Christian Films

Hollywood’s Disturbing New Obssession With Christian Films

Through the past few years there has been a huge spike in Hollywood produced Christian films. From action packed spin offs, to award winning documentaries, the past several years has been seemingly very kind to the Christian community. With all of the persecution, hatred and uncivil treatment of the Christian community going on around the world, it can be refreshing to see major corporations highlighting God and what is in the Bible.

There has been many self proclaimed Christians who waste no time to flock to the nearest theatre each time one of the Bible based films release. There are even some pastors using these films as guides to thier sunday sermon, or in many cases as a recreational youth gathering. Though hollywood has seemed to turn from its evil ways (lol) on the surface, further insight clearly outlines the conspiracy to not only blatantly attack the Word of God through film, but to teach every believer and unbeliever alike, the evil, satanic, mystery religion of the elite and abolish true Christianity all toghether.

Below is a outline of popular movies that has been released through the years. There is an abundance(too many to talk about) of recently released Christian films so my aim is to select a few and get a “behind the scences” look into the production and thought process of producing films targeting a Christian audience.

Noah

Noah, released in 2012, saw huge numbers at the box office. It is an attempt to tell the story of the biblical account of the flood. Those who have even the smallest idea of noah and the ark, can easily point out that hollywoods depiction of one of the most well known stories in the bible, have been altered, and fabricated specifically for a certain agenda, with Hollywood playing the author of this important story instead of God. This version of noah is not found any where in the bible and aims  to remove the most important elements that should be in any “Christian” film, such as the  Gospel, Gods righteous judgement, sin, and the mercy and salvation of God. The director of the Noah film, Darren Afronofsky, is a self professed atheist stating in an interview, “ It’s probably because im Godless. And so ive had to make my god, and my god is narrative film making, which is-ultimately what my god becomes, which is what my mantra becomes is the theme.” Further examination from the directors own words gives us deeper insight on spirit behind such deception in Hollywood:

“I don’t think it’s a very religious story…I think it’s a great fable that’s part of so many different religions and spiritual practices.” –Darren Aronofsky, Variety 2012

“just added the legend in #noah . long live the nephilim! it was an honor.” (Source)

“It’s about environmental apocalypse which is the biggest theme, for me, right now for what’s going on this planet. So I think it’s got these big, big themes that connect with us. Noah was the first environmentalist.” (Source)

To sum up the movie completely

-God is evil

-Evil Nephilim and fallen angels are good

-Noah is evil, phsycopathic drunk who consults witch doctors

-The earth needs to be purged due to overpopulation(new world order)

It is clear that The creator of the Noah film went to great lenths to discredit the biblical account of Noah to a modern day man made heretical picture that is in line with the ideals and philosophies of himself.

Exodus: Gods and Kings

Exodus, a movie based on the Old testament story of Moses and the Exodus out of Egypt, the movie, became one of the more popular and higher grossing films targeting the Christian community. Many Christians and non Christians alike raced to see what was portrayed as more of an action adventure filled story than an accurate account of what actually happened. As usual, even though the “main” targets was Christians, the creators clearly had no intention of using this powerful biblical story to strengthen someones faith or bring them to Christ. Instead, it was seen as a money grabber and more importantly an opportunity to corrupt the true Word of God. Hollywood’s false interpretation makes Moses a product of paganism and sorcery, puts man higher than God and excludes the saving grace of God. Here is what the cast members had to say about the film:

Christian Bale- ‘I think the man was likely schizophrenic and was one of the most barbaric individuals that I ever read about in my life,’ he said

Bale had been keen to work with director Ridley Scott after hearing such good things from so many of his co-stars over the years and, when Scott suggested that Bale take on the role of Moses, the star went straight into research mood, taking in texts like Jonathan Kirsch’s “Moses: A Life” and Louis Ginzberg’s “The Legends of the Jews” as well as both the Torah and the Quran in full.

The Book Christian Bale used to research Moses, “Moses, A Life” was a book solely dedicated to proving that the Bible is false. The book aims so much to do so in fact, it goes to lengths to even subscribe the miracles Moses performed to the occult and sorcery he learned from his father Jethro.

“Sometimes he shows up in the guise of a sorcerer with as many tricks up his sleeves as a lounge-act magician in Vegas. Armed with the so-called rod of God – a shepherd’s wooden staff, but we might as well call it a magic wand- Moses works all kind of sideshow legerdemain to impress both Pharaoh and the ever dubious Israelites.” (Kirsch, p. 7-8).

“a pagan priest. It was Jethro, not Moses who offered the very first sacrifice to Yahweh.”- Kirsch

Furthermore, Director Ridley Scott goes into detail about his unbelief of the Bible, claiming his view in Darwinism to be true.

“Darwinism seems to be logical,” Scott says, launching a long trajectory of a response. “You come from something on all fours, to something that stands upright and gathers fruit from trees, and then realizes that it’s a lot more convenient to walk upright, so now you have Homo sapiens.

“Ape-to-man, it makes sense — you can even look at the drawings and the diagrams of why it makes sense. And I don’t think that God touched a rock and suddenly there was man. It’s not that simple. (source).

Racist casting in Exodus movie | Why are all the main characters White?

The movie also recieved huge backlast for its historically false representation of Egyptians , casting mostly white Europeans, while subjecting all African actors to “lower class” roles

The views from the cast of Exodus are plainly and clearly expressed in the film. The supernatural element of the exodus is dumbed down to completely obsolete, the occult is seen as “good” from God, and the entire being of God is played by an 11 year old boy just to even more clearly demonstrate their views on God of the bible.

The Bible Miniseries

The Bible miniseries is a series of 10 one hour episodes of bible stories which deputed on The History Channel. Despite the program being aimed at Christians, the bible miniseries is the highest rated program in the networks history, which says a lot about its success. But, with its success it also follows the pattern of unbiblical false teachings, man made heresies and ignoring the true message of salvation. This however, did not stop many churches and Christians worldwide from embracing and cheering for the show, which is proven by its success ratings. Whats even worse is the fact that behind the scenes, the panel of creators of the show, are all in some way involved in false spiritualism(not Christianity), corrupted ideologies, and even new age witchcraft.

“We weren’t qualified to teach the bible, but we knew plenty of people who were” -Mark Burnett

The board of directors for the film consist of Joel Osteen, TD Jakes, Rick Warren and a host of catholic advisors. Its important to note that all of the men on this board teach false unbiblical heresies involving the prosperity gospel, new age mysticism and promoting a the one world religion of the new world order. That is enough on its own to understand how a bible based film could be so innacurate, blasphemous and well…..unbiblical.

Roma Downey, co-creator of the Bible mini series, is an avid reader of new age occult literature

Roma Downey, who is the co-creator of the bible miniseries, is know as being a Christian in Hollywood. However, some critical facts must be pointed out in order to truly understand the “spirituality” of Roma Downey and in terms, understand the true spirit behind the show. In 2010 Downey graduated from the university of Santa Monica with a degree in spiritual psychology. The University defines spiritual psychology as this:

Spiritual phycology is the study and practice of the art and science of human evoltution in consciousness….

Downey also had this to say in an interview:

‘My kids go to school about a 40-minute drive away. I’m open to the group’s opinion about what we listen to on the way there. On the way back, I get my own selections — books on tape by Eckhart Tolle, Tony Robbins…My husband says I’m so “self-realized” I’m practically levitating.’

Firstly, the term mentioned “self realization” is a term in new age and eastern mysticism for reaching “godhood” or “divinity” which is the biggest emphasis in the new age movement. Secondly, she mentions that she avidly listens to the teachings of One of the new age movements biggest influences, guru Eckhart Tolle who is also a luciferian. Here are a few quotes from Tolle:

“You realize your true identity as consciousness…. That’s the peace of God. The ultimate truth of who you are is not I am this or I am that, but I Am.” (p. 56-57).

“I think if he lived nowadays, instead of ‘kingdom,’ he would have said, ‘dimension.’ And ‘heaven’ refers to a sense of vastness or spaciousness. So if we retranslate the words of Jesus into modern terms [it would be] ‘the dimension of spaciousness is within you.’

‘The kingdom of heaven does not come with signs to be perceived. You cannot say, ah, it’s over here or look, it’s over there, for I tell you the kingdom of heaven is within you.'”

To make matters worse, Downey has even been seen on tv trying to talk to the dead, which is an occult practice known as necromancy.

ACTRESS Roma Downey has talked to her mother through a psychic on live TV. The Derry-born Touched By An Angel star was a guest on a celebrity version of the US psychic show Crossing Over, hosted by medium John Edward. Roma’s mother Maureen died of a heart attack in Derry when she was 10. And Roma was heartbroken that she was never able to tell her how much she loved her. So she jumped at an offer from the producers of the show on the Sci-Fi Channel to speak to her mum using Edwards for the connection.(source)

We can finally conclude from staggering evidence that Downey is not in fact a true Christian but a new age mystic, which for those who don’t know much about the new age, is literally a modern spin on witchcraft and paganism. This is who wrote the bible miniseries and it is this spirit that is behind the corrupted tv show.

Killing Jesus

Killing Jesus movie is based on the book by Fox News very own Bill Oriley. Unlike the other bible based films, “Killing Jesus” doesn’t even make an attempt to mask its attack on Jesus Christ. The entire film its based on the blasphemous premise that “Jesus Chhrist was a natural man who did not claim to be God or perform supernatural acts, but was here as a great teacher to be an example.” This is yet another attempt in introducing man to the false religious system of the new world order, where there is no “true” god but all gods are one in the same.

“This is the first time we see Jesus as the man, not as this kind of spiritual divinity. Even though all that is there — and I think that’s important, because the main teachings about Jesus was to teach men how you could become better.” He continued: “If you look at this person and you see an angel or a God, you’re not going to be able to relate to it. But if you see a man with all his faculties you say, ‘Wow, He’s like me.’ He’s a working class intelligent man. Every person can see something in them that Jesus has. That’s what you’re going to get from this story. The real human side of Jesus.” – Chris Ryman, who plays Malchus in Killing Jesus.

In the film, not only does Jesus NOT claim to be God, but most of the time is actually confused about his mission and the reason he came to earth. This is obviously not correct as Jesus had a complete understanding of his divinity as well as his mission.

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. – John 8:23-24.

Jesus plainly stated numerous times that he came to earth to bring sinners to repentance unto salvation and that there was no other way to escape God’s wrath other than believing on the saving mercy and atonement of himself. He was perfectly aware that he wasn’t just “some man” or “good teacher” but had heaven as his home and was one with the Father. All these false teachings of the film come as no surprise as the foundation for the film is not on the bible, but in fact is founded on a man that does not even believe the bible! Here are a few quotes from Oreilly himself:

“Look a lot of the Bible, Mr. Burnett, is allegorical and we know that in creation and things like that….”

The Killing Jesus website even uses teachings of the Koran next to the bible, which is a subtle way at promoting the one world religion.

Bill O'Reilly antichrist mockery of Scripture | Is Killing Jesus accurate?

The point of this article isn’t to give reviews, synopsis, or even go into full detail regarding the selected movies. The goal is to veriify the trend of hatred, disbelief and fearlessness of those who pour millions of dollars into creating these films, while also exposing the credibility of those in charge of creating these films behind the scenes. While I only chose a few movies to point out, make no mistake, I could have easily chosen 99% of Christian films made in hollywood. This is to serve as a warning to any secularist or professing Christian. A warning to put on an eye of discernment when viewing anything with a “christian label” manufactured in hollywood, as it could very well do harm to your faith. A rodent would not digest a handful of “poison” if it were at all detectable. It blends well, it has no smell, it does not attract the eye, and it isn’t known to be destroying your insides until it it already well digested….which is why it is such a good killer.
