As new artist are born and crafted into todays music industry, the promotion of the occult and blatant Satanism has become increasingly popular. Everyday, through various symbolism, lyrics, and fashion, prove that the entertainment industry indeed is run by an elite occult society that want full indoctrination of all its viewers.

What every upcoming artist should be aware of is, along with the fame, money and success, there is a very dark side to the music industry that seeps into every artist one way or another. Popular artist and rnb singer Ciara is a perfect example of this. Through a couple of not so new songs(released in 2013) Ciara can be seen blatantly promoting the occult, Satanism, and of course Alister Crowley, who is a major influence in todays culture. Through popularity, trendy fashion, and a good singing voice, Ciara in the most coolest way possible sports fashion attire steeped in “Hermetic Order Of The Golden Dawn” in her video “Keep On Looking” as well as “Super Turnt Up.”

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (Latin: Ordo Hermeticus Aurorae Aureae; or, more commonly, The Golden Dawn (Aurora Aurea)) was an organization devoted to the study and practice of the occult, metaphysics, and paranormal activities during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Known as a magical order, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was active in Great Britain and focused its practices on theurgy and spiritual development. Many present-day concepts of ritual and magic that are at the centre of contemporary traditions, such as Wicca[1][2] and Thelema, were inspired by the Golden Dawn, which became one of the largest single influences on 20th-century Western occultism.- Wikipedia

The Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn is a secret society organization formed by a group a freemasons. Like most secret societies, the golden dawn acts as a brother to freemasonry in which members are gathered in a lodge/temple, has a system of ranks and initiation and holds the names of the most influential men and women in the world. Like freemasonry, the core of the Golden Dawn’s teachings and occult practices stem from the satanic mystery religions of ancient egypt and babylon. This is evident by the fact that the first temples of the Golden Dawn were named, the Isis Temple, the Horus Temple, and the Amen-Ra Temple.

Aleister Crowley was one of the foremost Satanist of the 20^th century and made the Hermetic Order Of The Golden Dawn Society what it is today as far as popularity. Aleister Crowley dedicated his entire life to attacking and destroying Christianity in hopes of a major occult shift in society where Satan is realized as the true god. He hated Christianity so much he even went as far as labeling himself “the beast/666” which is a reference to the antichrist in the book of Revealations in the bible.Crowley stated  “That religion they call Christianity; the devil they honor they call God. I accept these definitions, as a poet must do, if he is to be at all intelligible to his age, and it is their God and their religion that I hate and will destroy” (Crowley, The World’s Tragedy, p. xxx). Eventually, worldwide Crowley was named the official “wickedest man in the world.” Through many secret societies such as freemasonry, Golden Dawn, O.T.O etc, Crowley became engulfed in black magic, even attributing demonic spirits to most of his works through through possession. Crowley was inducted into the Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn in the 1800’s which gave the group much fame and recognition. He would then leave to form his own secret society, the o.t.o(Ordo Templi Orientis) to continue his practice of the occult. Crowley was as dark a man as you’ll ever see, and this is who Ciara chooses to promote in her songs. It seems as if the entertainment industry as a whole is obsessed with the philosophy and mind of Alister Crowley, seeing as many great musicians and actors have all paid tribute in some fashion.

Through the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, men and women are able to take practice in many occult practices such as witchcraft, tarot reading, ceremonial magic, black magick and pagan worship. The name Golden Dawn is a reference to Lucifer himself which should give an idea on what purpose the order truly serves. Satan was once known as “the son of the morning” a reference to the brightness of a star at the dawn of day. And the Golden Dawn doctrine is a reference to trying to bring man to that god-like level (and in the Order of The Golden Dawn, “Son Of The Morning” is an official title one can achieve after rising in the ranks – so again we see that the occult is taking God’s Word and twisting it to deceive).

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn is also founded on hermetic doctrine. In Hermetecism, the greek god Hermes is the equivelent to Lucifer or Satan. Blavatsky, occult practioner, satanist and founder of the theosophical society (another secret society) said this: ‍

Hermes, the god of wisdom, called also Thoth, Tat, Set, Set, and Sat-an; and that he was, furthermore, when viewed under his bad aspect, Typhon, the Egyptian Satan , who was also Set.” [Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Isis Unveiled , Vol. I  

‍Why would anyone chose to promote such a thing in their music, especially knowing millions of her fans are a younger audience? That is because Today the music industry has become less about talent and more about indoctrination. Alice Bailey, a disciple of Aleister Crowley and deemed “prophetess of the new age movement” (she communicated through demonic spirits) in her blueprint for creating a new world order and preparing the way for one she calls “Matreiya the christ”  sums it up this way:

‍The gradual evolution of individual’s thought processes to where his/her mind is naturally thinking in tune with the desired thought pattern consistent with the New World Order. The objective is to so thoroughly condition people that they will not realize that their thinking is being framed by any outside agency or people; rather, they will think that their thoughts are spontaneous. This is known as the “Evolution Of Human Thought”. (The Externalisation Of The Hierarchy, Alice Bailey, p. 588)  

SO WHY IS  OCCULT SO WRONG?

Many get duped into the occult with a false sense of empowerment. The root of all occult teaching is that one can achieve godhood through occult practice, which is the very first lie Satan told Eve in the very beginning. Now the serpent was more [subtle] than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. – Genesis 3:1-5.

Make no mistake, dabbling in any form of the occult is an outright rebellion against God.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. – Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. – Leviticus 19:31.

And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. – Leviticus 20:6.

The reason the occult is so dire and abominable to God, is because the true source and power of it comes from none other than demons and Satan himself. When using any form of witchcraft, charms, astrology etc. you are making literal pacts with these entities for your soul in exchange for temporary “gain.” Unfortunately, many people find out a little too late. Torment is usually the next thing that comes with any of these practices, as stated by many former occlutist. Witchcraft is such a big deal, that it was punishable by death in the old testament, and many states today even gives the same punishment.

The great news is that even though there is an occult revival in the works that will only continue to get worse, a great hope has been given to all who fell for the trap. Through Jesus Christ death and resurrection, the is a second chance for those who put their faith in Him. Where practice of the occult was once punishable by death, You can now be forgiven and restored from the bondage of any demonic spirit. Jesus has the power to shred any contract or pact because even the demons themselves tremble at His name. Satan and his fallen angels has already been defeated and through love and faith in Christ we too can become victorious!
